Jane not only acted in movies and TV shows, she also did theatrical plays, such as: 1960’s Will You Walk a Little Faster, 1961’s Peter Pan playing as Wendy, 1965’s Dream of a Summer Night, Pygmalion playing as Eliza Doolittle Cockney, Cleo, Great Expectations, 1966’s The Happiest Days of Your Life and Sixty Thousand Nights, 1967’s Romeo & Juliet playing as Juliet, 1968’s Look Back in Anger playing as Alison, 1969’s Wincked Women, 1970’s The Philanthropist, 1974’s Old Flames, 1975’s Treats, 1976’s Strawberry Fields and To Those Born Later, 1978’s Whose Life is it Anyway?, 1980’s Before the Party, 1986’s Blithe Spirit, and 1988 and 1989’s Henceforward playing as Corinna.

Late Career
Jane’s career nowadays is being a well known cake decorator and maker in England. She had her own cooking show on TV, her own weekly column in a national newspaper, plus the publication of 14 lifestyle books. She has also wrote books on entertaining, fancy dress and ornate cake decoration and in 1995 launched her own national publication Jane Asher's Magazine, at a time when she regularly featured on television commercials. She published her first novel in 1998 entitled The Longing, followed by others such as The Question and Trying to Get Out. Jane still occasionally acts in movies, TV shows, and in theatre.
